Our Spiral Tree Guards have now been used throughout Europe as the primary protector of young trees for over 25 years. They are manufactured in recycled PVC, offering a life expectancy of over 4 years, which is sufficient time to get most young trees fully established. After these 4 years, the spiral tree guard will slowly break down under UV light into small, brittle inert particles. The primary function of the spiral tree guard is to protect young trees from destruction by animals.
