Our Spiral Tree Guards have now been used throughout Europe as the primary protector of young trees for over 25 years. They are manufactured in recycled PVC, offering a life expectancy of over 4 years, which is sufficient time to get most young trees fully established. After these 4 years, the spiral tree guard will slowly break down under UV light into small, brittle inert particles. The primary function of the spiral tree guard is to protect young trees from destruction by animals.
Spiral Guards for Hedging, available in a bundle of 25, protect young trees from animal damage, meeting DAERA’s new hedging requirements. Made from recycled PVC, these easy-to-install guards ensure healthy growth and longevity. Our spiral guards and canes are available in smaller bundles to match your Farming with Nature or Small Woodland Grant Scheme contracts.
